Message from the CEO of GLF Schools
We are delighted to welcome William Morris School to our multi-academy trust, GLF Schools, with effect from 1 February 2016. We are excited to be working with your school following its recent successful conversion process to academy status.
Everyone at GLF Schools is united in their core purpose to provide an outstanding educational experience for children. Learning and Teaching are at the heart of each school and we are looking forward to working with the wider staff team along with parents and carers in achieving the shared aspirations for all the children at William Morris.
Whilst operating as part of a larger “family”, all the schools within the multi-academy trust exist in their own right. GLF understands the role each school serves to meet the needs of its local community. We will work with William Morris to strengthen the unique characteristics and individual identity of the school whilst also developing all aspects of its provision to create a happy school of which the local community can be proud.
Meet the Executive Headteacher – Tuesday 8 March at 3.30pm
We would like to invite all parents and carers to meet Ms Hiddleston and members of the GLF Education Team on Tuesday 8 March at 3.30pm. There will be a presentation with refreshments and further information will be sent out nearer the time.
Ms Hiddleston joins us from Ladygrove Park Primary School in Didcot where she is currently the Deputy Headteacher and she will take up her post at William Morris in April at the start of the Summer Term.
We are looking forward to meeting you and working with your children to build a happy, safe and inspiring learning environment.

A BIG THANK YOU TO COMMUNITY PROJECTS –
Pentalver Transport Limited, Hampshire.
They have donated a FREE container for the school. We will be using it for extra storage for us and will be asking the pupils to design images for the outside of the container to help it to fit in!
TP Steelworks, Banbury.
They provided us with transport for the chairs and tables that were donated to the school. Thank you everyone!
Thank you for the funding to purchase additional PSHE resources about “keeping safe” and to improve the learning environment in Early Years. Thank you to Jill from the Sunshine Centre for help with this.
