Welcome to William Morris Primary School, the very first GLF Academy in Oxfordshire. Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will need to make as a parent and I am very pleased that you have expressed an interest in William Morris School for your child.
Children are the future and so we endeavour to help them start on the path towards becoming a successful member of the community who is happy with their life choices, confident and able to learn for themselves, resilient in the face of hardship and who is able to celebrate theirs and others achievements.
At William Morris we place great importance on respect, kindness and working hard. We understand that good learning behaviour is the key to success and we provide an environment whereby excellence, determination and resilience take pride of place in our children’s behaviour for learning.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school working hard with parents and the local community to provide the best education for their children. We have an approachable, talented and incredibly dedicated staff who are wholly committed to the children and their education. Our teachers secure high standards whilst embedding a love of learning through a diverse and inclusive curriculum.
As a GLF School, we are committed to ensuring that our children ‘grow, learn and flourish together’. If you are looking for a reception or nursery place in 2016 or 2017, please do come and visit our school where you will receive a warm welcome from our staff and our children.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.

A BIG THANK YOU TO COMMUNITY PROJECTS –
Pentalver Transport Limited, Hampshire.
They have donated a FREE container for the school. We will be using it for extra storage for us and will be asking the pupils to design images for the outside of the container to help it to fit in!
TP Steelworks, Banbury.
They provided us with transport for the chairs and tables that were donated to the school. Thank you everyone!
Thank you for the funding to purchase additional PSHE resources about “keeping safe” and to improve the learning environment in Early Years. Thank you to Jill from the Sunshine Centre for help with this.
