The following are the holiday dates and staff training dates for this school year. This ensures that the children receive their required 190 days in school and includes the statutory staff training days when teachers are required to be in school without the children.

Please note, Parents should take holidays during the school holidays. However if, for unavoidable reasons, you have to take these in term time the holiday must be requested beforehand.

Please ask for a holiday form from the school office. In some circumstances the headteacher is able to authorise up to 10 days but only if the child’s attendance is above 92% for the previous year.
Unauthorised holidays are followed up by our Attendance Officer and sometimes this has led to a fine!
